Default TB spacers

I have a ? has any one used a TB spacer work on the hemi for any mpg improvements. my friend had a 2007 hemi and said it mad some improvement on his truck. now he had traded in his truck and is going to give it to me. is it worse putting it on or a wast of time. i never thought much of them but if it will help and it free ill do it.

Throttle body spacers work OK on carbureted engines and ones with the injectors in the throttle body.On port injection it does absolutely nothing.Go with one o these www.theFastman.com These will give you a real seat of the pants kick.Used one on my 1998 1500.

Been tested many times. Yes as the hounddogg says, it worked well on older designs but dynos have shown if anything it decreases performance on modern TBs and yields no mpg improvements...

Use it as a paperweight...

that's what i always thought to but he was telling me it was a good mod on his truck and it was going to be free so i thought id check it out . thank guys

It someone spends like $70 bucks for one, then takes the time to install it, I bet they think it helps. Sadly, it's not so.
