Default new truck mpg

what was the average mpg on your new trucks when you got them im at high 13's and low 14's right now with mainly mix driving. also when you watch the computer mpg line gadge it seems that when ever it goes out of econ mode it only gets like in the 12 -14 mpg range and that's cruising at 60-65 is that normal. i have a 2010 hemi trx4 crew cab.

Mileage gets better once you get some miles on it. Like after the first oil change.

I get the same 13/14 so far with 1,400 miles mixed driving. I've switched between 87 and 89 octane and see no big difference in mileage.

City driving I get 15 mpg all the time, highway I get 17 to 20 mpg depending on how far I drive. All hand calculated.

i know the truck needs to be broke in some. but my main concern was the highway mpg it just seems to be worse than or the same as around town as soon as it goes out of econ it 14 mpg and this is still babying it.

I tend to have little faith in the instant economy output.

I have a spreadsheet that I fill out after every tank fill up. I got 18.7 on my first tank. But the instant economy had me around 16.

I had the same issue's with my TRX4 bad mileage on highway. But now with 19,000+ miles on it it has come up to 18 MPG on the highway.
