I have gotten 25 mpg according to my computer and yes I reset it to be sure. I put the cruise on 55mph on the cross town expressway. I was impressed. Thought I had a tail wind so I figure turn around and go the other way and see what happens. I lost a mile or two because getting back on the expressway it looked like I had a nice opening then someone switches lanes and puts himself where I had planned to be in rush hour so I had to go WOT until he noticed me, I decided I could fit in front of him still and I am a lot bigger than that Cavalier or whatever it was so cuz of that I lost a mile per gallon on that 10 or so mile trip each way.

When I saw the 2010 sticker mpg indicating 26MPG highway, I thought it would be more feasible to go new, but is the 2010 fuel economy that much better than the 2008??? Is it really worth spending the extra 12 grand for brand new?
Thanks for any opinions or actual mpg stats anyone can give me!
The 4th gen is a vast improvement over the 3rd gen. The '08 will be a 3rd gen and the '09s and '10s 4th gen. The HEMI now has MDS, the transmission is similar to Tiptronic, but above all, the 1500s now have coil springs. They really aren't all that expensive new (at least in the US), and if you can find an '09, that may be the answer.

I am from Canada & I use the standard way of measurement for miles, gallons, inches, feet etc. I was born & raised with the standard way of measuring. The only metric measurement I use is celsius which I think is way better because anything below 0 celsius is freezing & anything above is not.

WOW, 25 mpg is in fact impressive! I think I may be best to get myself a 09 or newer Ram if the mileage is that much better with the gen 4's!

I think you meant "why can't the USA use the metric system" like the rest of the world.

We're metric all right.

Just go to a Home depot and look at the lumber sizes and see how many metric dimensions you find.

We ARE stuck with metric distances however. I just wish fuel economy was expressed as km/liter rather than liters/100km.

As easy to understand as velocity given in furlongs/fortnight.
