Due to some golf ball sized hail, I'll be replacing my hood. Shop quoted the factory hood at 490 unpainted. What's the price on the challenger looking hood unpainted? I figure I might as well use this as an excuse to get an upgrade on the truck.

 

That is pretty expensive. Can you claim it on your insurance? and perhaps u can get the hood you want with the help of the shop

 

yeah, it's definitely getting claimed. the hood isn't the only thing that felt nature's wrath. I'm looking to run the numbers to see how much out of pocket I would have to add to get a different hood.

 

do a search someone on here or dodge talk was selling a challenger hood

 

If your claiming it on your insurance, I'd peek up on top of your cab as it's likely damaged up there as well.

 

well, from looking around the web, i should be able to get the challenger hood down to around 750 bucks. The roof, fenders, and hood were all dented. Everything can be PDR'd except the hood because it is aluminum.
