love the stereo system with nav that I have with my backup camera, I would recommend it, it is integrated very well and the stereo is even integrated with the display on the dash between the speedometer and tach, it is a great option

There really easy to add, you don't need an aftermarket setup unless you want one. You can find the stock touch screen online for real cheap. I bought mine on ebay for 300, works perfect. You can even find the stock backup camera on there too. Installing the head unit is as easy as removing some screws-pull center bezel out-unplug old head unit-put new one in!

My truck looks so much nicer with my new stock touch screen and it only costs a fraction of what the dealer would charge!

I highly recommend going this route, I've had my head unit for over a year on two different 4th gen Rams and haven't had a single problem with it

I would go stock, it intergrates with your harness and also shows the turn display in the evic. Very easy install. I purchased the unit from oemautoparts 1,450.00 delivered. It came with the stock nav unit, back up camera, all necessary wiring which plugs into your harness, no cutting, and last they also included the lock-pick v-2 which allows you to use the nav unit while in motion. This feature is great, my employee can program an address for the nav without me actually stopping. Everything was plug and play. The hardest part was running the cable for the back up camera from the tailgate lock to the unit. Otherwise the install would have taken me a half hour. Make sure you have the u connect that way you have the mic already installed.

Hey guys! Thought I would bring this old post back with a huge update!

My old car crapped out on me and needed $1000 in repairs that I just did not want to spend on that old POS. So, I bought a 2011 Doge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Quad Cab about 2 weeks ago and I got EVERYTHING I wanted in it except the bigger chrome rims. I got the backup camera, navigation, power seat, remote start, and a lot of other things! I got more than I even knew was an option for the truck! I am very happy with my decision! After taking it home for a week the dealer called me and told me he found another rebate that he forgot about for being a new college grad. He soon sent me a $500 check and I got the bed sprayed with Linex!
