30000km Service.
This weekend I Rolled 30000km on ym Dodge so i figured that again i would change the engine oil myself but also do the diff and transfer case oils as well.
went underneath the truck looked at what i had to do.
13mm socket and took the covers off the diffs took fluid samples and sent away, there was some metal residue i guess you could say in my diff oils, i figure its just from the gears making there pattern in the gears for a good break in, so i aint worried about that.
went and took plug off transfer case another oil sample and sent it away, poured AMSOil ATF in and 75w90 Severe AMSOil in froint diff and 75w140 AMSOil in rear diff. I have 3.55 gears so i dont need any additive for LSD.
When I was cleaning up the covers for the diffs there was ALOT of silicon on, and still seemed kindof wet to like the silicon hadnt completely dried up which is surprising consider i do a fair amount of highway driving but none the less put new silicon on and slapped her back together.
Waiting for the results for my oil samples to come in, i did my engine at 20000km and it came back with reportable amounts of Tin and Copper which i figure is from the engine breaking in.
Anyways thought i'd tell everyone, i'll update on the fluid samples, my bolts for my exhaust manifold are coming in. Dodge is releasing 30000 bolts in North America i guess so yeah, also gotta get my MDS Flashed cuz truck is surging when driving on cruise going up a slight hill.
