$1700 for Max care lifetime warranty with $100 deductible to me is a steal. I have been searching for the samething on my truck and the lowest I have found is $2150. With the discount, I am looking at about $1700 as well. The dealer I bought my truck from tried to get me to pay $4000 for it. If anyone knows where $1700 can be beat for a ginuwine Chrysler backed warranty, please let me and everyone else know.

you aare an idiot if you buy a warranty. 2000 bucks is a rip off. trucks now days will run 200,000 miles just changing oil before any problems. my last 2 trucks i ran over 150,000 miles and didnt ever have 1 problem. BIG waste of money

I purchased mine from Dover Dodge in NJ last Nov and paid 1600.00. I purchased it after I bought my truck and they gave me 0 % financing. 973-366-1718 Don't ask them how much, just tell them what you are willing to pay.
make sure it's the max care with the 100 deductible.

Maxbob,

Just because you went 150,000 miles with your last two trucks doesn't mean everyone else will be able to do the same. YOU may think it is a waste of money but to others it may not be. Now I'm not here to argue with you, but everyone else may have a different reason to purchase a warranty.

well i normally don't worry about the extended warranties, they usually are only good for at the most 70000 miles, and if the vehicle is good for the most part through that period then they are usually are good through 70000. and if they were not good through the manufactures warranty then they would be gone anyway before 70000.

but this is lifetime no milage limit. for 1550 (what I paid for it) a starter, an alternator, and say some AC work (common normal problems) and that would be 1550. That and coupled with how much these new vehicles are Dependant on the computer, shoot 1550 now up front in the long run could be cheap compared to fixing them out of pocket.

Absolutely no reason for rust proofing unless you plan on doing your driving on the beach.

I never have taken a warranty on a new vehicle and didn't on this one. I'll admit to second thoughts owing to all the computer and electronic components on this vehicle but I'm willing to take the chance. I feel that electronic components will fail before the 3 year warranty is up and if they don't they should last as long as I'll keep the vehicle.

I'd hardly call it 'rustproofing' more like 'rustdelay'.

I didn't get it on mine and I live in BC, although after a year and a half the undercarriage looks like crap. I'll do what I did to my last truck and paint the whole frame with POR15
