Drop in liner; paint will be ground off and trapped water rusts the bed.
Bed rug ok if there's no snow.
Spray in best if you're not dropping heavy stuff that will dent the bed.

2 products are good .. SPEEDLINER .. and even better .. LINEX .. i have linex and would NEVER look back ..

I had lineX sprayed in and I guess it good for protecting the bed. I finally had to buy one of those large rubber bed mats to protect the stuff I was hauling. LineX is like rough sandpaper, so if your hauling anything of any worth, it will scratch it. So I guess it depends what you normally haul. Probably LineX if your are in the construction business or haul "rough stuff" and the other options if you haul furnature or stuff like that.......

I'll also vouch for LineX if you can find a dealer nearby- I had to drive about an hour away to get mine but it was well worth it, we've beat the sh*t out of the box and it still looks as good as the day I got it.

Another vote for the Line-X. Love mine and do abuse it monthly, never had any issue with it. Even the Florida hot sun doesn't bother it.

I've got the rubber mopar bedmat. Doesn't protect the sides but it keeps stuff from sliding around and doesn't remove skin if you are crawling on it.

I have the Rhino bed liner and I love it. My loads do not shift and it does not bubble up or get hot when the temperature is pretty high. Its not like sand paper when you touch it either. Everyone has their preference and you will need to do more homework to be able to decide. I love my Rhino liner...

Ill vouch for the bedrug. I had one on my '04 Ram. Aside from the show quality looks, its tuff as hell and easy on the knees. I wouldnt use it for heavy construction, but for the average joe, its great.
