Default engine ticking

so when i start my truck i get a really loud ticking that i figured was a lifter or maybe the exhaust manifold leaking. was wondering if any of you have had this problem? its loudest from the passenger side. i know there was a recall about some bolts for the manifold?? i never had it done and wondering if maybe that will fix it. it does get quiet after the engine had been running for a while and is warmed up

Could be an exhaust tick. There is an RRT to replace some exhaust studs that are prone to breaking.
