Default Break Pedal squeak

I've had my truck for about 4 months now (2010 TRX4) and lately my break pedal squeaks when I press on it. Doesn't do it all the time, however on certain occasion the pedal will squeak when I press on it. Any ideas?

i remember having this happen to me also. i was going to inquire about it during my next oil change (less than a week away). however, it went away w/o me realizing it.
i haven't thought about it until reading your thread. not sure how long it lasted but it couldn't have been long, i'm a little sensitive to annoyances.

Mine did it too. The first time I took it in they lubricated it and that only worked for about 2 weeks. The second time, they replaced a pivot bushing (I think) anyways the squeak is gone for good now.

Mine did the same thing. Brought it back to the dealership and they tried to lubricate it, worked for a couple weeks. They ended up replacing the entire brake pedal assembly. Now to try to get the seat to stop squeeking....

Mine does the same thing but only when it raining out. I took it in once and they replaced the brake switch, but the sound came back after a month.
