Default Mopar CAI, cat back exhaust...anyone?

I just ordered a 2011 Laramie and was wondering if anyone is using Mopars cold air intake, and or Mopars cat back exhaust system. If yes do you like them, and how does the exhaust sound? The search turned up nothing on the cat back and I was curious, I could be right out of my mind also, but have faith you guys will straighten me out one way or another, thanks

I'll recommend K&N CAI. I bought mine cheap off Amazon. Selling price is usually $330 or so from K&N direct, but I got mine for about $260 and installed myself. It's an easy install, and K&N covers all equipment with a 1,000,000 mile warranty, so if you ever need spare parts or install your CAI to a new truck, they'll send you parts free of charge.

i have the mopar cai..... bought it before the k&n came out. had i known it wasnt going to be much longer after i got it, i would have waited and gotten the k&n. but i dont have any complaints with the mopar one. i dont have a catback, i got rid of the garbage that was on there and got a flowmaster super 40, removed the resonators, and put some real tips on there. not the short pieces of crap they came with. also, if you are looking for the most bang for the buck as far as improvement, get the SuperChips programmer too. you will love it!

sorry for the long link. I have noticed a big improvement in my truck since I installed my tune. I am running the 93 octane tune and love it. I also just installed a ported and polished throttle body and that also gave a big improvement in the throttle response and low end torque. I can almost spin my tires from a dead stop now and i have the 3.55 gears, its so close i can almost taste it.

Thanks for all the replies, I am still wondering about the Mopar cat back exhaust. Has anyone ever seen or heard on on a Hemi? Who makes it for them? I am still waiting on a price from the dealer, we'll see.

i would go against the cat back. just swap the muffler and get rid of those whimpy tips and you should be good. i dont think you will notice any more of a difference than that.

Just a heads up though: While doing what BigTex advises will help out your sound, it does void your warranty as well. Ran into this when I wanted to do True Dual exhaust.
