Default Yet another Oil question

There are so many different oils, which ones are for hemi trucks or is it all the same stuff? i just found some specials on this website but have no clue which are ok. obviously the difference is conv, blend and synthetic, but do i have to stick to certain weight (5w20)?

anyways these are awesome deals but are any of these acceptable?

All you need to do is stick to the 5w20 weight so the mds will continue to work properly. If you are planning on keeping your truck for a while or if you want to take good care of it then I would suggest a full synthetic. I use mobil 1.

I do exactly the same. Hemi's don't handle wear well so I always go synthetic and with all the research I've done Amsoil is the best but who wants to pay $80 each time just for the oil. Net inline is the Mobile one and thats what I use.

How many miles do you go between oil changes using Mobil 1?

Totally agree.. Mobile one full synthetic, if you're going to own the truck a long time.

It's hard to go wrong if you make sure you stick with an API certified brand. Whether or not you choose synthetic or conventional depends on how often you want to change oil and how much money you want to spend. Personally, I think if you are changing you oil at least every 5,000 miles (with a new filter), synthetic is a poor investment.

Talking about oils is like talking about politics? Most people that have good luck with a brand stay with that. Royal Purple , Amosil, mobile one and so on ..
The dealer I use charges me 16.30 for a reg. hemi oil change , I change when the oil gets dirty , some where 4-5000 miles each oil change?
