DOC, would love the bonus check or just tax free from now on.

went through AL A..., no problems, started right up, let it idle till oil hit everywhere made little extra valve train noise, nothing major for a few, then quieted, took it off the 4 jack stands (don't want flat spots on the tires). Ran great.

Did not give wife permission, put it in the on post storage, they were supposed to start it once a month, truth be told no way to really tell if they did, but I mean it sat from FEB to AUG and no dead battery so maybe they did.

SPRECBALLS maybe we can grab a drink or lunch sometime later on.

Welcome Home! I see you're stationed at Fort Benning. I did some time on Kelly Hill back in the 80's. I'm looking forward to your stereo posts. So get some R&R and then get busy!

What are you trading in on a 2500?
Plan on trading my 09 laramie quad cab for a crew cab cummins. The reason i got a quad cab was for the regular size bed. The 2500 offers crew and regular short bed. Also i want straight axle too. Probably go with an ST so i can color match everything. I basically want to make replica of the 2010 blue pure performance lifted truck from their website. But all in due time. On my second deployment with hawaii gaurd going to afghan. Were in texas right now and this heat is brutal.

I'm deployed right now out of Oahu, Active Duty... Guess you're getting your combat skills training in Tx but you dont know hot. It's hitting 115-120 daily right now.

Sure do miss the island

I'm that you're talking about Security Hill on old Kelly, now the red headed stepchild of Lackland. I've been on the Hill for 9 years now.

As for the truck, I'm planning on just having the wife to start her up and drive her every so often. I'd like to get a nice cover for her, but I know the wife will never be able to get it back on.

Well done guy's you US service men seem to get a rough ride??

I'm in the British Army and we have 6 month tour's.

However after spending 7 yrs as a Main Battle Tank crewman doing tours in Bosnia and Kosovo, not forgetting the countless months spent in Poland, Canada, Germany.... I have now just completed 7 yrs as a IT Logistical Communicator, I haven't been anywhere I feel like the only one in NATO not to have been to Afghan or Iraq, not that I'm knocking it I thank god everyday for me not going, not that I've dodged any tours I just keep missing them plus they don't need my trade out there.
