Default Latest RRT's

Just got back from the dealership, went in for an oil change and warranty items. First the lumbar motor stopped working, the key FOB works for crap, and the latch on one of rear seat storage containers broke. So they take the truck into the bay, after about 30 minutes I go up to the service desk and start asking about RRT for MDS engagement. The girl says she has never heard of any problems but starts to look through the RRT's and comes across 4 due for my truck! First is the MDS engagement, so they re-programmed the PCM with the latest code. The next is for the front axle seals, one for the third brake light seal and one for door seals. They are doing the work in two weeks as they have to order parts for the seat and axle seals.
I am a little pissed at that fact that they would not have looked those up unless I went to the service desk and specifically asked. I will post the RRT numbers once I get the complete bill. So if you are going to the garage for service ask about all the RRT's for your truck!

Those RRTs have all been out for a while.

The MDS enguagement is one they only do if you are reporting issues or request it

I figured most were out for a while, but some were out the last time the truck was in for service and nobody would have even looked it up if I hadn't asked.
They tested my key fob with the transmitter checker and 4 out of 5 times it would transmit fine then it would transmit a low signal. Probably going to repace both my keys. The key thing is the most annoying.

I just call my dealer once in a while between oil changes, just ask service to look up my vehicles and ask if any RRT's or TSB's or Recalls happening she punches them in, alll good. I am gonna take mine in for the Fobs finally let them at least reprogram them..

Lifetime powertrain only covers stuff like engine, trans, diffs etc not interior, body or electrical components. You'd have to buy the upgraded warranty for that. The RKE problem the '09s have doesn't have a fix, there is a flash for the '10s but not the '09s. I've replaced my WCM and both FOBs and it still does it
