Ok I am sick of looking at this ugly plain piece of black rubbery like plastic thing Dodge calls an engine cover on my 5.7 Hemi whenever I pop the hood. Has anyone painted theirs or did anything that would make it look more attractive, or is there a better looking one you can buy anywhere? Any ideas, pics?

 

I haven't personally painted mine, but you won't find any shortage of members who have. Depending on how creative you want to get, they can look quite nice with a little time and TLC

 

Get one of these stickers for the cover. Not sure why, but every time I see your truck I think Fall Guy. Must be the bed bar, because the truck isn't even the right color.

 

did mine pretty soon after getting the truck... was very easy and im happy with it for a DIY with mopar spray paint

 

Well, oldjeep funny you mention Fall Guy because that show is EXACTLY why I love lifted 4x4's with bed roll bars so much! I loved that show as a kid and always wanted that truck (even though it was a GMC) I'm glad when you see my truck you think Fall Guy because that was the idea! Since my truck is an 09 the Rugged Brown wasn't available, it was a new color for '10 If it were available I probably would have gotten brown. I have also heard people say it reminds them of Bigfoot the monster truck (the original one) which is blue but is a Ford. Another truck I loved and wanted as a kid So whether you call it Bigfoot, Fall Guy, etc, they are all compliments to me and it means my truck is projecting the image I want it to!
