Default Attorney Representation Notice For Your Ram

I had forgotten all about this letter I received from an attorney and was wondering if anyone else has received a similar one. I've had it for some time, it reads: I obtained your name and add from a list of Dodge Ram truck owners to me by Deshazo Direct, a marketing firm. The only information the list provided is the names and add of louisiana residents that may own a Dodge truck. I acquired this list after learning that some Dodge truck owners, specifically those equipped with diesel engines, are experiencing problems such as recurring check engine lights, EGR problems, and turbo charger defects. If your Dodge truck or any other new vehicle has been to the shop for warranty repairs three or more times, I would like the opportunity to discuss your rights. There is no charge for this consolation. If you have never owned a Dodge truck do not currently own a defective vehicle, please disregard this letter. And he goes on to say there's no attorney fees, blah blah blah and leaves his contact numbers. I won't post them unless given permission by the admin because it is a solicitation. I just wanted to share this with you guys who may have gotten a similar letter or may be needing help or info. I've had this letter tucked away in case of any future issues and had forgotten all about it. Has anyone ever heard of this or know about it? I have the phone numbers and attorneys name if the admin would like to see it posted and if interested.

Sounds like a lawyer that missed the boat on all the other lawsuits down there going on so he is gonna make his own.

Got the same letter, filed it under important! If I need to sue someone I don't need someone else telling me when I need to sue. That is one reason this country is hurting in some ways, people are looking to sue over everything.

That and we don't need to help Chrysler into closing it's doors for good.

If I was effected by those problems maybe I feel different but I am not. So that is why I am not going to even give it a second thought.

Default the new CTD has had a lot of problems

I know a coworker that has had lots of problems with his 2008 CTD. I was admiring his truck and he said it was a POS. He had nothing but trouble with the engine and finally sued Chrysler and got a ton of money but kept the truck. He was telling me that he finally went to a different dealer and had them change all of the injectors and a bunch of other items and said this was the first time he had gone over a few thousand miles trouble free.

He had nothing good to say about the CTD.

Another time, I was flying back from Idaho and the guy next to me and I were talking trucks and he told me to stay away from the CTD and that if I wanted a diesel to get the duramax. Turns out he owns a plumbing business in Cour de Alene and has a fleet of the dodges and he has had lots of problems with his trucks also. He said he asked his mechanic what the deal was, the mechanic told him to look around his shop and count the dodges CTD and the duramaxes, the answer was that he did not see any duramaxes but lots of dodges, the mechanic then exclaimed - That's the point!

Friend of mine has had nothing but trouble with his Ford Power strokes too. His 2008 F350 has been thru 4 radiators, a full replacement set of injectors and a new turbo. So, it's not just the CTD that's a problem.

My bro in law same thing with his 08 Harley 250, Powerstroke that has had a stroke 3 times..in Canada so he is f.....d he is trying hard to get out of it. I think the last time I talked to him he was gonna just try to trade it and get a new one. LOL I can't believe him, 3 relatives at Chrysler and he won't even try one, he snow plows, when I told him it has a Jake brake he was kinda interested, I see GMC has it now. Anyway his motor was replaced 3 times and various other items. I remember his first diesel he bought back in 86 f250 one week dash fire. every other Ford has been a garbage truck he is not good at maintenance but he does what is required, he is not one to keep a clean truck. He is afraid the Dodge 2500 won't match up to the Ford. I said well you should consider it, even if you get a HEMI, since I loaded mine up the other day and it felt like nothing was in the truck 1650lbs looked like it had a load but felt like an empty truck, so I imagine the 3/4 tons must be tough
