i have an 09 1500 sport in stone white and i have had this problem for about 8 months now. my truck is a year old and i've had it back at least a dozen times. they did fix where the head board of the box and the sides are riveted together. that all rusted. but i have the specs in my paint and the owner of the dealership has told me that i should of bought a dark colored vehicle and that it ain't their problem. i was pissed. needless to say last dodge from that dealership

FWIW,
Just bought a 2010 in deep water blue pearl. The truck had been sitting in the dealers lot since early spring. While they were detailing/power washing it for delivery, some paint flaked off of two spots on the bed floor. Upon closer inspection it appeared that there was some bubbling of paint in about 4 of 5 spots....a real crap prep job. I looked the truck over real good and it seems it was only the few spots in the bed, but hell, this was supposed to be a new truck. Got a nice free spray-in liner as the solution and I'm happy for now.
I'm hoping I don't find more paint problems down the road.

Dodge got some quality control issues with the paint application in Mexico for sure.

yeah the paint on my truck is the worst Ive ever seen on any vehicle Ive owned. Ive not talked to anyone who owns one of these trucks who does not have defects in their paint. Wish their is something tat could be done, but what.

I have particles in my paint, some orange peel and even a spot on the inside of one of my doors where they left a tab of metal hanging which has since fallen off and there is not no paint at all there. just exposed metal.

the only way that the warrenty covered the spots on the front of my box is because they blistered the ones in the paint all over the truck they said until it becomes a hole there is nothing they are going to do. sometimes it comes off sometimes it don't
