That's where they were on my 97 F150; even had lights in the buttons!

A far better use of valuable steering wheel real estate.

I've got a power sliding rear window, and it's heated. The ice and snow just slop right off it, just as it does the windshield, given enough time, etc. LOOOOVE this option, being able to open and close while zipping down the highway. It's almost like an exhaust for the cabin and its weird smells that can accumulate. 😅😳😁
