Its frikken blue smoke only thing I know that burns blue is oil. Detonation....lets talk laymans terms and call it spark knock, you know that rattle sound you hear when you have a load on your car or truck and you are going up a hill or slight grade and slowly increasing the gas and you hear a kind of to me rattling it sounds like or and bunch of popping. That is not occuring . I am going to follow it if I can keep up when she boots it an see if it get that after you let off the gas smoke also. If so it's going in I want a new motor, or it is going to be on record that this thing is smoking now so when it dies I warned them.
Now this oil that is getting burnt at first assuming it is oil would a catch can fix this issue?

If its on first startup, and its blue, its oil burning just as you suspect. Detonation has nothihg to do with this as said earlier, that only happens under load while driving and even then there is no blue smoke involved. Somehow oil is seeping into cylinder or cylinders after being shut down. On first start, it burns out. I'm no day job mechanic (built engines hot rodding way back when) but years ago it would have been valve stem seals. Hopefully someone will chime in who is up to date on these newer engines.

Don't want to assume anything but these engines are not broke in till around 10k miles and will tend to smoke from time to time. Mine use to every now and then but stopped at around 10k and hasn't since and I have 18k+ miles on it now.

Spark knock is an unfortunate term. Pre-ignition or detonation are better; spark knock should only be used to describe pre-ignition that occurs due to running too much advance.

It makes as much sense as calling all black people African Americans, or equally, not calling Charlize Theron one.

My point I'm getting at with possible detonation is excess oil and fuel vapor in the combustion (which is suppose to burn off with twin plugs... but after removing my intake manifold on my Charger this spring, I couldn't disagree more) chamber causing excessively high compression and possibly detonation.

Having a catch-can is never a bad idea, and can't hurt, take a look at the backside of your TB blade once. Use them at work with our gas-fired 1,000,000 BTU's high speed dryers and use them in my vehicles at home.
