Default Hoods

Has anyone installed the Ram air hood by Suncoast creations on a 2009 or 2010 Ram 1500?

I spoke to them today. Looks like it's a very nice product.

Are you planning on getting one? I just wonder how much it would be for the paint job and I am sure it all depends on how good the painter is if they could get the colors to match. Know anyone that has one on their truck?

This is the one I plan on getting in a couple of months:

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/4th-gen...hood-pics.html

Can get them here:

https://www.ramairhood.com/store/Scr...?idproduct=146

or here:

http://www.autoanything.com/body-kit...0A3152619.aspx

I called a few places around were I live and asked how much it would be to paint and match it to the fenders, I was told $400 - $500, so I figure about $1700 after everything is said and done. But hey, I'll have RAM air... I can laugh at all those fake "RAM air" hoods on mustangs and the like. Anyway, hope this helps.

P.S. I was told that the stock holds are worth about $500 more/less if you can find someone to buy it from you.

- Thanks

Yea it will shipped out today. Going to do a tech article in Truckin on the install paired with the CAI. Paint usually runs around $400 to $500 for a good painter to paint it with good material.

So you are getting the one in the picture i posted? Care to post pics after you get it installed? I really like it, but I guess everyone has their own taste.
