Newbie Toneau (Ger!)
From my last post "topper-what-will-mine-look-like" I'VE SEEN IT!!!!
One thing I failed to get apart from the correct gear ratio is a bed liner, what options do I have, baring in mind I live in Germany?
Also are these toneau's any good as I'm kinda limited to what can (they can be bothered) be shipped to europe.
Also what size bed do I have does the 140" have anything to do with it in?
*MDL Ram Quad Cab 1500 4x2 140" WB ST 24,378.00
Truxedo LO PRO QT Tonneau Cover $526 delivered
Truxedo Truxport Tonneau Bed Cover 2009 $450 delivered
Access Vanish Roll-upTonneau Bed Cover $425 delivered
Really sorry about all of the questions but I am quite isolated here in Germany.
Also I have noticed I can get whats called a Bestop cap/topper its fabric so its cheaper to be shipped, a uk dealer quoted me £1000 for one.
Thanks in advance.

If you plan on removing it at all or think you may, I would suggest the Undercover SE if you don't want to paint it and are ok with black or the Undercover SE Smooth if you want to color match it and want it painted.
BAKFLIP F1 if you want a folding cover.
And for a soft cover, can't say never looked into any, not enough security for me.

As far as shipping I would think one of the soft bed covers would be better.
I have the Lorado and love it. It is tough and I have not had a problem with it since I put it on. You can roll it up completely and have complete use of the bed at any time with it on. The two side pieces are simply clamped on so you can take those off as well if you want a clean bed for some reason.

You could also go with some type of a bed rug instead of a liner. Also better for shipping.

I did the roll in bed liner (Herculiner) on my beater Ram a few years ago and it worked fairly well until I threw an engine back there. The engine simply ripped the Herculiner up. But I was able to just go back and repaint the bed and it looked good for a long time after that. So light stuff is ok. Sharp heavy stuff not so good.

BakFlip is an OEM line in germany and they have dealers there as well, so you should feel secure in case you need help with a problem. BAK also has Distributors in England, France and Turkey as back-up. One good thing as well is that even though it's a hard tonneau, it ships in a small box (because it folds), so freight won't kill you.
