Default Got my remote starter to work...LOL.

So I was out raking the yard and got the blower out to do the driveway. Well there it was sitting on the side of the driveway. My black push button activator thingy that fell out of the hood. So I reinstalled it and now the under the hood switch is working again. Yaaaaa, for the little things in life...

No. A while back my remote starter was not working. The display said the hood was ajar. Winds up there is a long black plastic cap that goes in a hole in the hood. That cap pushes down on the under hood switch. This is so that you cannot accidentally start the engine if your neckties is in the fan belt...LOL. Well that fell out somehow. Not the bestest, sturdiest piece of plastic BTW. Well I found it in the driveway doing some yard work. I had drilled a hole through the plastic cup that is bolted to the radiator support and simply kept the button down with a screw going from one side to other of the cup, but now I have the plastic cap thing back in....Until it falls off again anyway..

mine had also fallen off, but I had it the whole time. mine is stripped and doesn't stay on, so thanks for the screw idea, I did that and got my remote start back after nearly 2 years =)
