Any Tricks?
So I have a 2010 and am curious what tricks you have found out about your trucks that may benefit other owners... I have seen the thread about the windows roll down via remote, but curious if there are other things?
I am curious if there is a way to get Uconnect to be induced from just the steering wheel. I think Dodge really missed the boat if not being that I have to reach to the other side of the radio to start anything voice or cell phone???
Thanks

Reaching for the phone on Unconnect depends on which headunit you have, mine's on the driver side and is no problem to hit. Here's some "features/tricks" I've found useful:
- On decel hold shifter all the way to the left and it will downshift for you, really handy with a heavy load and makes some good exhaust noise if you want to show off.
- Holding the shifter to the left on acceleration seems to give me better shifts for some reason. Not sure if its using the lowest gear possible logic like when decelerating or if its really suppose to do that.
- Tow/Haul provides a lot more engine braking so if you're in stop and go traffic it helps save you a lot of jumping from gas to brake
- If you're flipping through radio staton presets and you want to go back up to #1 with going all the way through the 12 presets, just hit the seek button in either direction and immediately hit the center preset selection button and 9 times out of 10 it'll jump the first one on the list because it hasn't grabbed another station yet.
That's all I can think of right now, I'll add more if I think of any.

No one else?
I have the RER and figured Dodge really messed up by not allowing access to the voice activated stuff from the steering wheel. I was really hoping someone would chime in and teach me the trick

Whe buttons are added to a steering wheel, they need to be thinking like a videogame controller, there are a lot of small buttons on a PS3 controller that allow you to do most anything in a game, and a lot of games will alow you to assign what buttons to what.. Now why can;t it be that way in my truck... Give me 3-6 bttons on each side of my steering wheel and let me decide what each one does. And they also put the cruise control in a retarded spot as well.
That's right damnit...Those design guys are way not in touch with what the public wants or needs.
Dodge should get everyone from the forum together and let us design a truck. Like that would ever happen.

If they did that here, they would wind up with a truck that sits 8 feet high has 24" gold rims, 30 cup holders, 600HP with an estimated 36K of engine life and it would sound like a 1978 ford with no muffler.
