cooled seats
I've noticed mine vibrating for a short time (maybe 10 seconds) when I turn it on, but then it goes away.
Do you start it on the high setting or go right to low? I know sometimes fans without a separate starting winding like to be started on high, before being slowed down.

Not sure if you've done this already, I didn't see it above, but make sure the fans are clean, especially the blades. I didn't have my cooled seats long enough to get them dirty but I do know that dirty fan blades will cause an out of ballance condition that can cause a fan to wobble or shake. It can also cause noise if the dirt is being slapped by the blades turning, kind of like when us older guys used to put playing cards on our bicycle spokes. I used to own a large rear projection LCD TV and one day that thing started making noise when the cooling fans would come on. Out of desperation I pulled the closest fan to rear that was used to cool the arc lamp and it was caked with dust. I took it apart and cleaned it and the noise was gone. Don't know how hard it is to get to these underseat fans but if they were working fine before and now making noise, vibrating, I would check to see if something got sucked into them or just a lot of dust. Jeff.
