I think that is the part number for the black plastic upper cover.

You should look for the paint to match upper cover, which is part 68034055AA.

I am planning on dong the same thing to my ST. Let us know how yours turns out.

Yes, that is the part number for the black paintable upper bumper cover. This is the one that I purchased then had painted along with the bumper so that they matched. Are you saying there is one that is already painted? I would be hesitant to by one that is already painted because then you have to paint the bumper and they might not match.

I thought the black upper cover is the one that comes with the ST trim, which is textured and should not be painted. Part 68034055AA does not come pre-painted, but is paint ready. Isn't this the one that comes on the trims that have the chrome bumper?

tn6478 had the black upper cover that comes on the ST trim and ordered a new one so it could be painted. tn6478, do you remember which part number you ordered?

I plan on doing the same thing so I want to make sure I get the right parts.

My first truck was an ST. The parts guy told me this was the same one that I ordered last year. They make one that is Black and textured and one that is paintable. I never saw the upper because it went straight to the body shop, so I do not know what color it was. However they said this was it. I would try both numbers because it seems that you never can tell with these dealers around here.
