Ok,

As the title states I want to make my R/T into the truck it should have been if not for end of the model year that option isn't available BS. So, thanks to ebay I've found the RBZ and Park View camera at a decent price. I also plan to buy the MyGig Lock Pick along the way.

Now come the questions. With the Lock Pick will I be able to activate the camera without a trip to the dealer? (Yes, I know there are a million and one aftermarket cameras out there that I can add with the Lock Pick and not have to worry about the dealer, but I am sort of OCD about things looking factory and I want to go with the Park View setup.)

Next what is the easiest way I can add UConnect to this setup? I'm not opposed to replacing the mirror if it was plug and play. But, from what I've read it isn't. I know there is a setup that uses a remote microphone which I'm fine with. Once again I am looking for plug and play if possible. No serious re-wiring or trips to the dealer if I can avoid it.

if i didnt have to pay for the ridiculous raping of the lock pic, i would get the rer/rbz. its $300, wtf, why cant no one else come up with something cheaper.

 

Dunno i am wondering the samething. Am i able to get unconnect to work with the rbz radio?

 

I paid 189 for my lockpick in fact have a look tons on ebay just watch version you want mygig v3. There are some with cameras for like 289, so lockpick camera and the wiring good deal.

 

Yes it will work. Paid about $30 to get it activated at the dealer. Better than $300 not to mention the ticket you will get for front seat video while moving.

If you buy parts, the ones for the REN should be the same as for the RBZ.

 

No doubt. I just paid $176 for a Lockpick V3 with all the bells and whistles. Ebay be my friend tonight!
