Default Installed Strobes?

Has anyone installed (warning) strobes on their 4th Gen?

What kind, and how/where did you install them?

Pics/vids?

As long as they are amber it's ok over here! (And you do use them as hazard lights etc...)

I have a Blue LED strobe light bar on the roof of my 3rd gen.

Got it from Speed Tech Lighting. They've got all the same styles that you see around on Police Cruisers. From hideways in the grille/headlights/tail lights to full on light bars.

Still trying to get around to mounting my headache rack so I can properly place the light and run the wire so you can't see it.

I've seen a lot of private plow trucks use the strobe hide-aways inside their tail and head lights. I'm considering doing the same, I've been stuck in rush hour traffic changing tires on the expressway, and can't even begin to say how important it is for other drivers to take notice of you when changing a flat.

Geezir: Actually the full size light bar that I am looking to get is from speed tech lighting. Some other people from my fire station have the mini bars and have had great success with them. On my 3rd gen, I had a full size rotator bar that was wired through my head liner up to the 3rd brake light and out. I just dont want to do that to this truck if I can help it.

I ran the wire down and drilled a hole in the back drivers side of the cab then ran the wiring down under the door sills and then up under the drivers seat using the existing hole in the carpet from the power seat motor to run the wire up. Control box is velcroed down on the floor, tucked right under the center console. I'll take some better pictures when I'm around my truck.
