It's common but not just because it's dodge. You have to remember that these trucks are atthe most two years old. With the exception of the axles and the drivetrain, they totally redesigned these trucks. Just part of a new model run. Another thing to consider jaguar you are on a dodge site so you will see a lot more recall talk on here than you will in other places. Just look at the new camaros andthe issues that GM has been handling...

Now this is a stupid recall should be a RRT or TSB not a Safety Recall. Did it actually come on that orange and white card that said it was a Recall?

Took mine in last week for the seat recall and the HVAC recall. No work performed.... so I guess it is ok. I asked them to install the Ipod interface cable. Cable works great. Bank of buttons in the middle of my dash with the hazards button, tow button ect is now non functional. Now I get to go back to the dealer and sit in the waiting room again. Incompetent tech no doubt forgot to plug in that bank of buttons. I HATE stuff like this!!!

SOL, why SOL? No problem that's a good thing. Dodge did your truck right and found the issue before yours was built. Thats a good thing....

The ipod interface cable is an option on the RER radio unit. It just needs to be plugged into the back of the unit and routed to the lower glove box. Some have routed them to the center console. I prefer my ipod be out of sight.

I had mine changed 3 months ago. Now my seats are never hot when I get in.Took it back to dealer and they told me they work.Friend of mine told me they put in preasure sensing switches, so the seats don't heat until you're sitting on them.By the time my seats heat up the truck is already warm. They worked great before I had recall done. Wished I would have never taken in. May sound minor, but when you pay all that money for extras they should work.
