Default Predator knock/ ping fix

Haven't seen anything lately, nor can I find if the issues with knock and ping were ever fixed on the DSP Predators for 09-10 Rams back a couple of months ago. Anyone know or heard?

DSP tuner on River_Booty's 2009 isn't pinging. Never did when he got it back in the summer.

I, and a number of others, had ping issues early on. I stated in another post I would imagine they had fixed it by now. My issues were exiting MDS and turning off MDS was NOT an option for me as I drive a number of miles.

I sold mine and bought a SC which worked great since day 1.

Thanks for the input. I guess I'll check their forums at DS again to see if I can get an official reply. I would imagine its been fixed by now. Till then, I would rather deal with not shifting above 6K (keeping it under 5950 rpms) than risk damage w/ knock or ping. I'm sure it can be custom tuned over a dyno but that means more $$$.

the pinging issues have gotten better and so have the tunes. i still havent installed one of there canned tunes yet. just got a modified stock tune with TM removed. it feels really good with just the TM removed. on the 87 canned tune i've logged 7 degrees max on ST KNK and maybe 3 degrees on LT KNK. its better than before. i did do some logging on the stock tune and got 3 degrees of ST KNK and 0.5 LT KNK. Tried up 91 octane and different brands of gas and could not get it to go away. Check the forum theres a few of use still testing and troubleshooting.

Have any of you done any logging on there stock tune to validate if your truck knocks. Most problems with knock are in MDS mode. It seems that superchips doesnt have any knocking issues...

Just brought the truck dealer last week and they said my ECU was up to date but they did do a HVAC recall. 18K and counting with KN drop in otherwise stock.
