Default Max Tongue Capasity

Does anyone know for sure what the maximum tongue capacity is for a '09 1500 CC with the factory hitch? (class IV, not the bumper hitch)

I've tried the Dodge Bodybuilder and searched the forums but could not find this number. I looked at aftermarket hitches on eTrailer.com and it states 1,000lbs for a class IV hitch. Any help is much appreciated.

From Mopar accessories description:

Class IV Trailer Hitch
2003-2011 Part number 82211226AB

12,000-lb tow rating, 1,200-lb tongue weight rating with weight distributing equipment; otherwise 5,000-lb tow rating, 500-lb tongue weight rating.

Thanks for the help and taking the time to look this up! I'm trying my best to make sure I'm not killing my truck with my Travel Trailer towing. I'm lowering my gear ratio via the Dealer to increase my capacities but want to make sure I don’t miss something in the process. like cooling etc. It seems that the only difference in the different tow capacities is the dif ratios.

Thanks again for your help.
