I am looking into replacing my headlight bulbs, however I have decided not to go with HID kits. If I were to add 80 watt bulbs to my low beam, 100 watts to my high beam and 55 watt to my fog lights will I fry the wires???? I know the factory bulbs are about 55 watts.

 

Sounds dicey to me. I would also be concerned about melting the headlight housings.

Stay with 55 watt, just find a bulb with better colour spectrum.
