EVIC or Bullydog GT readings

EVIC or Bullydog GT readings
So I have been monitoring some things now that I have thus tuner hooked up and I noticed a few things.....
First, the EVIC average MPG is consistently 1.5-2 mpg higher than what the tuner shows. I reset them both at the same time when I fill up. Which one is right? Second, some of the gauges are redundant, so I checked the coolant temp, both had different temps. The EVIC was showing 5-10 cooler. Anyone have any thoughts on this?? Is one more accurate than the other, if so, which one.
