had some stoem damage to my truck hood and fender are getting replaced looking at getting the R/T hood on it what is all needed for it. and is the the air inlets functional or just for show?

 

shouldnt be anything extra to do to install hood, and the air inlets are just for show

there are a couple different styles of aftermarket hoods available that are functional ram air

 

after market would be nice but insurance is paying for most of it all i have to do is pay for the up charge from the stock hood to the rt hood and that's 300 bucks every thing else is payed for from having a tree fall on it. thanks for letting me know didnt know it they were show or not. but for the price cant beat it
