For those of us with Leveling kit's or lift's
I had my Mopar leveling kit installed about 4 months ago. I noticed about a month ago that my front tires where wearing down really bad on the outside after about 7500 miles. So I brought the truck in and the Dealer re-aligned the truck and told me to bring it back in 1500 miles to see if it was going out again. At the time I figured this was just as a precaution. Well after 500 miles I am starting to notice the truck pulling again. I called the dealer today because I was thinking about stepping up to the 4" Mopar lift. The Dealer told me that they where having issues with mine and two other trucks that they installed the Mopar Lift on. He told me that they cannot keep the truck's aligned. My question is are any of you having this same issue? PLEASE DO NOT fill this thread full of "See this is why I do not want to lift my Truck" responses. Looking for good info here, I have a serious problem. Thanks
Try getting a alignment done some where else.
I had a Nitro that was like that. Had to get new tires after 20,000 miles the tire shop said that I should have the alinement checked every 6 months
I had my leveling kit installed at Off Road Warehouse in San Diego and they did the alignment at that time. Didn't have any problems with irregular tire wear. As a precaution when I went to get the tires rotated and balanced I bought a life time alignment package for like $160. The alignment was slightly off so they put it in specs..
But now every 6 Months I can have the alignment checked. In the long run it will pay for itself

Had my level kit installed 1 year ago this month, with new 35" tires and wheels, I've had my alignment checked twice, I manage a full service mechanical and auto body shop. Checked it last week still perfect after a year. Here is the key to a good alignment. All tire pressures need to be set where you want them, steering wheel needs to be centered by the driver not the tech, the tech must know the weight of the driver.
When I have my alignments done I center the wheel, lock it in place with a special tool and sit in the drivers seat, when i'm not in the truck the machine will say the alignment is out slightly, but when I get in and sit down in the drivers seat the alignment is perfect. Also the tech needs to take in to account the crowning of the roads. In oregon we get lots of rain, so the roads have crown to allow the water runs to the sides. this will make a car run to the right unless the alignment is done to compensate for the crown.

All good info, Thanks. My tires seem to be toed in. They are both wearing on the outside corner. I am thinking about taking it to another shop to get the alignment done to see if that makes a difference. This sounds a little isolated to my dealer.
