What'd u pay?
i looked on ebay not thinking i was gonna find a the mopar product for 2009-2010 (assuming it means 2011 it will work as well) and did. it was 1 10" sub and amplifier that only puts out 200 watts. the site i provided didnt give any of that information. but for the 10" sub and Amp it was $648 plus shipping. it was coming from the states so im sure it would be considerable more to buy in canada and it hardly seems worth it at all. it almost seems like mopar really cheaped out with what type of sub and amp they would recieve from kicker to offer to us. im not saying the speakers are the same way but i think aftermarket is definitely the way to go.

Ordered them from here:

These are the fronts. The rears are there also. With our dollar almost at par, I saved hundreds. Prices were 50% less than what I could get them in my area.
Haven't installed them yet, but planning on it this weekend.

Bumping this thread so when others search for the Mopar Kicker speaker upgrades they will find this information in one place.
I just purchased and installed the Mopar Kicker 2 way 6x9 Rear speaker upgrade kit and the Mopar Kicker 6X9 and Tweeter Upgrade (Replaces the stock 3.5 dash speaker) kit.
Both kits were about $247.00 with shipping and arrived in a few days from Mopar Supercenter.
The install on everything was simple. The only tools required are a Phillips Head screwdriver, T20 Torx driver, 7MM Socket, 1/4" ratchet and a plastic pry tool. Everything plugs into the factory connectors. Their are no wires to cut or splice. I used Bit tips in a screw gun as opposed to using screwdrivers to save time.
Removing the door panels is easy and explained in several YouTube videos. I removed all 4 door panels and replaced all 4 door speakers in 34 minutes. Not difficult at all. Just be careful when you pry the plastic anchors out on the perimeter of the door panels. They tend to want to shoot out and get lost.
The dash speakers were simple to replace as well. You do NOT need to remove the A Pillars to get the grills off.
Insert the pry tool into the grills edge closest to you and pry upward. They pop right out. The factory speakers are held in place with two 7mm bolts. The one closest to you is simple. The one closest to the windshield is a pain since their is so little clearance. I am sure their are lower profile sockets on the market that would make it easier. But a standard 1/4" drive 7mm socket will work. The same goes for your hands. If you have big hands like i do (size XL gloves) it's a tight working space. But still possible. If you have a buddy with little hands, unplugging the old speakers and installing the new ones will be easier. The new tweeters plug right in to the factory connectors and the crossovers are built into the tweeters. Start to finish the dash speaker swap took 22 minutes.
So for $247 and 56 minutes of my time my truck's factory stereo sounds 100 times better. WAY more bass and much more crisp high's. I was shocked at what a difference the tweeters make over the factory 3.5's make. Since sound is subjective i decided to do a test. At my job i pulled my truck over to the smoking area where you can always find at least a half dozen people milling about. The age range was 20-40. I asked each one of them to sit in the truck while i tried a few Satellite radio stations out for them. Country, Rap, 90's techno, Classic Vinyl and Heavy Metal. I told them i had bought after market speakers and an amp that cost me $700. ALL of them said it sounded great and a few asked if their was a subwoofer.
Bottom line is i like them and have no complaints. But i was happy to know that i guess i'm not crazy. If anybody wants to upgrade their stock speakers but is on a budget and wants to do the work themselves, this is an easy upgrade.
