Is there a way of knowing whether the tires/wheels have the "tire preasure" sensors mounted in them?
I will be going to look at buying a set of used wheels, and the guy is telling me they do have the sensors mounted in them. The tires are not mounted on the truck, so I have no idea if he is telling me the truth.
When I go there tomorrow, how should I go about investigating more??

 

The sensors are screwed onto the back side of the valve stem on the wheel. If a shop doesn't know they are there, they will break them.
