Default Tires: Decision Time

Hey guys, I'm looking for some new tires for my truck and I want a tire with a good tread design and still comfortable on the street. I think I've narrowed it down to 3 different tires.

1) General Grabber HTS
http://www.treadepot.com/tirereviews/15485430000.html

2) Kelly Safari Trex
http://www.treadepot.com/tire/357422099.html

3) General Ameritrac TR
http://www.treadepot.com/tire/15482850000.html

Do you guys have any experience with the above stated tires? I'm open for all input. If you guys know alot about these tires, can you give me the good and bad for each? Thanks.

This is one tire thread I have to keep my big mouth shut on. Even though I'm in a hunting club with about 60 guys, most of whom have either 4x4 trucks or SUVs, I don't think I personally know a soul with any of the three you have listed.

I do know that Generals (in general, LOL) have a good reputation. Hank Parker seems to like the Kelly's, but I'm sure the fact they pay him to advertise them kinda gives him a biased opinion, LOL...

Then give me your honest opinion on a good all-terrain/all-season tire that isn't going to run me $200 per. I don't want to spend that much on a tire that I'll have to replace in 30,000 miles.

BTW, your first two links are the same

I paid around $450 for my General Grabber AT2's installed, and I freaking LOVE them! Look into them. I might have paid $425 or so, I really don't recall the exact. I think they were $105 a tire? Locally of course

Fixed the links. How do the Grabber AT2's sound? I want a quiet, comfortable tire that still has good grip off road.

So far, very quiet. I don't have much mileage on them at all. I totally expected them to be very loud from the start. But this is my first dedicated "A/T" tire, so my I didn't really know what to look forward to. I don't know if they will get louder as they get more life in them, but so far, they are GREAT.

First question is, what are you going to use them for? I see you are in Florida, which makes the highway(ish), car(ish) tires you are asking about seem like a good tire for your location.

Then the next question is, are you running 20's or 17's?
