Default Opinons needed...

Ok, so by in large, I understand that people are going to be against my idea here, but I really like the look of a leveled truck. I'm not interested in lifting it to achieve this though, so dropping the rear is my only option...

Here is the truck now..

And here is a rough chop of what I'm thinking in my head...

Looking for thoughts..

I don't care.

IMO it is a waste of money on a depreciating asset, but each to his own.

I am in the same boat and still trying to decide whap product to purchase but I will tell you 1 1/2 inches won't get it level. You will lose anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 inch in settling of springs and we need a full two inches to get it perfectly level. You will still have a very slight rake but it will defenitely look better.

Not real crazy about lowering the back to get it level.

Not sure if this helps, but I dropped the back and like the leveled look. (Blue also)

Now that... That I like. A lot.

What did you do to get it down like that? Decrease in ride quality? Anything like that?

I like the leveled look, but I don't want to lift mine to get it there. Main reason is that I don't like having an empty fender well and I don't want to run over sized tires either.

Yes, I do have 4x4 which is a concern right now.

do what you want. If you cant justify the amount of time you spend in 4wd or the amount of stuff you haul then lower it. Throw some airbags back there so that it doesnt drag *** if you do pull something or load the bed down. Level would look better than how it sits now

I understand your point, but let me put something into perspective for you.

I have had this truck since October and I have yet to haul and or tow anything with my ram. There was a point where I thought I was going to have to trailer an 09 Challenger to Ohio back in September, but that didn't need to happen.

I do plan on still using it as a truck from time to time so this is why I am not interested in dropping it all the way to the ground. So to sum, yes, it will have bags on it.
