Default Clean the floor mats?

What is the best/easiest way to wash the interior mats? (If I dont have one of thoose vaccum cleaners that also can spray water)?
They have a "base" of rubber, right? So if I hose them of, will they dry up afterwards and then be as good as new? Any other ideas?

All I ever do is vacuum my mats. I have the std carpeted mats that came with the truck. Also the same as with my last truck (F-150) for six years.

I throw mine in the washing machine. It kind of drives the wife nuts but the results are good. I do it every couple of months or sooner if they are really bad.
