Funny you said that, I think they are/did. It was filmed in Michigan.

I wanted to do this to my 05 so bad... Then everytime I tried to pull the trigger I kept thinking about not being able to park in the garage at the airport. Maybe someday when I and not flying monthly. Cudos on keeping 17s! That is a big thing to do for the old school look.

A big thanks goes out to everyone who commented on my truck. When I was a kid in the 80s this is how most 4x4 trucks looked, and I guess it has just stuck with me all these years.. There aren't many GOOD 80s survivors around here, and if I find one they want big $$$, CASH of course....and usually banks won't finance something that old. So I just did the next best thing and built a brand new version! Even though the truck is a 2009, it looks as if it could have came straight from the 70s/80s. This truck is all about modern reliability and comforts/conveniences but with awesome retro throwback styling cues.
