Default hitch mount motorcycle carrier

Anybody here have any experience with this type of motorcycle hauler?

My bike is a Ninja 250. It's probably 350lbs. at most. I have to believe this will work.

Trouble is, I have the "factory" hitch. Actually I'm not even sure that I have a "factory" hitch as it could be some cheap hitch that the dealer put on. There are no labels or markings on the hitch whatsoever.

Does the factory hitch use tube or box steel? Mine is tube.

That will work but honestly for that much money you could get a 4x8 or 5x8 utility trailer. I picked up a 4x8 kit from Harbor Freight, put it together and slapped a sheet of 3/4" particle board on it for less than $300.

With a light bike like that, it should be fine. It'll also be a helluva lot easier to drive around without dragging a trailer.

Yeah, I'm selling my Carry-on 5x7 right now. I loved it; it was cheap and did everything I needed it to do. But it'll be much nicer not to have to store that thing. Thankfully price isn't an issue on this one. Got store credit that I have to use!

I had a versa-haul for my quad; it worked great.

That's one of the best you can buy and you'll have no problems with a Ninja 250. I made something similar for a GSXR 750 and it worked great. Much better than a trailer IMO.
