I've had my new Ram for about a week. I have the 430N and cant figure out how to get gas, food and other icons to show up on the map. Anyone know the trick?

 

I had the same problem.... I had to call Sirius and fork over some change to activate the service. As it turned out, after at least 6 phone calls (and hours of hold time), they were having problems making their service work. I finally put the truck in winter storage without ever getting it to work.

 

Go into the settings of the Nav I forget how to do it but it was something that had to be checked off like show points of interest and then you choose which ones, like gas, shopping etc. You shouldn't have to call Sirius for that

 

oops, sorry, you're right 72...I was talking about adding the Sirius Travel Link to my Sirius account...that provides local gas prices,weather and all that kind of stuff.

 

I talked with Sirius today. On the 430 RBZ, or RBH, don't recall what I have, there is an update coming in January 2011 that will allow for the icons as well as Traffic Link. I can still search for the POI's without it. I will be glad when the update comes though.
