2009 4.7L Intake
Hello,
I am trying to makeshift an intake for my 4.7L Dodge Ram. Basically its a kit created for the 2008 Dodge Ram 4.7L engine. Everything is essentially the same except for this port and hose which I have pictured. Now before that hose was connected to the air filter holder portion of the stock intake. Where should that hose connect now? Should it connect to the side of the intake tube near the throttle body or just vent out somewhere?? Thanks in advance!!

you could just put a breather filter on it just like the old v8s did. That hose, to my understanding has an additional purpose. In the intake kits for the new 4.7l goes into the intake tube straight up from where it exits the valve cover. I have a K&N intake kit on mine, the intake tube has a port for the breather tube to go, and then you have to drill a hole in the other side to put in the air-temp sensor.
