Default Fog/driving lights

Hey all, I'm new to this part of the forum, been lurking in the shadows for awhile. I have a 2010 Ram 1500 SLT club cab 4x4 w/4.7 in brilliant silver. It's nothing fancy, I have some things I wanted but not all and one of them is driving lights. My question to you guy's that didn't get them also what are you using if you added aftermarket lights and where did you put them on your trucks. My last vehicle was a 2000 dakota sport 2wd that I owned for 8 years and it had them so I miss having them on my new truck. Thanks for the help, shawn

I can't comment on the brands beause I don't have any myself, but a lot of people around here mount them behind the grill or on a bull bar like the one in the link I attached. Hope this helps. Good luck.

POS..don't buy it...I bought one:
1) mounts low and makes front of truck look low!
2) was 4 wheeling in snow this last wknd and the aries part got smashed to nothing in the snow!!!! backed up and it caught snow and ripped up....unreal..what a decoration!
3) put lightforce lights on..the metal is so thin, I tightened up the lights and the bar in the middle buckled from the lights....will sell you mine for cheap if you want one...I do not recommend this product for an utility or if you go through snow that will touch the aries part....p.o.s.

Aries products have always been bargain basement. Some guys love their stuff because of the price and that's fine. Just don't expect Westin quality.

As far as lighting, just spend $60'ish at Wal Mart for a set of Hella 500s and mount them behind the grill. Will take you all of about an hour to install them...

Good to know. I'm not sure the brands people are running here, I've just seen the bull bars. I don't think they look bad, but I didn't realize they were so cheap. If I actually end up with one on my truck, I'll make sure to do some homework. Thanks Hammer.

Thanks for the tips. Not sure about the bull bar I like the clean look of the front end although they do look good on the earlier gens. shawn
