My New 2011 Dodge Ram
I picked up this Ram 1500 QC 4x4 three days ago ($25,000 with cruise and power windows/locks/mirrors) and I am very pleased. I want to pay this truck off in 3 years before I retire, so I chose the ST with the 4.7.It has 3.55 gears, but I wish it had 3.92 with the LSD. I removed the plastic trim under the front bumper, which I think made a world-of-difference in the looks. The front end doesn't look so low. With all the reported problems with leveling kits, it doesn't look like I'll be installing one on this truck.
I had a Rhino Liner installed yesterday and the liner has the same texture as the Line-X, but a little softer. I had Line-X installed in my last two trucks and was a little reluctant. However, after looking at a few trucks with the TuffGrip liner, I was impressed. Plus, they offered $125 off. I used to discourage truck owners from having a Rhino liner installed, but not anymore.
I'm thinking about having the gears changed over to 3.92 within the next year to help with the 33s and pulling a bass boat.
Mods Completed:
Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler
Rhino TuffGrip Liner
MD 17" Rims (Discount Tire)
285/70/17 Faulken Tires (Discount Tire)
WeatherTech Floor Mats
Still To Do:
K&N CAI
Front Window Tint
