i have the 2" and have put 47000 miles on it and have driven in 4x4 at speeds up tp 60mph with no issues i did the install myself i used to be a mechanic before i changed professions.i will say if not installed properly you can over extend the cv joints and damage them.and that can cause a shudder or vibration

i put the 2.5 inch rough country in the front and 1.5 in the rear i put it in and had no trouble yet. had it in 4x4 in the snow a few times no problems yet. i had an 04 f150 before this dodge and had the same kit in it and have it in for 3 years never had an issue at all with any part and sold it and a year later i seen it and the leveling kit is still in it. some of the problems could be with what tires ya have on. i put my kit in and for 2 weeks before i had the stock tires on and never had any problems but since i put my bfg's in i get a little vibration at highway speed had the tires rebalanced twice. they said just they are alot of rubber to swing and hard to balance gonna put the tire beads in. i think alot of guys on here should think if they put both tires and leveling kit on at the same time they think it's the leveling kit vibrating but i know mine is tires.

i can see myself getting a 2'' kit i want the truck to sit level but not over leveled where the front seems higher. along the lines of tires i use my truck as a daily commuter 30 miles each way so the tire is going to be light weight and yet have a decent tread maybe a firestone A/T or a nitto havent decided

I have a 2005 1ton with a 2" leveling kit and i got the death woble as well. I found that you need to install air bags in the back as the rear is now lower then the front and it causes the weight to transfer to the rear and the front gets light. Also install the steering brace or the dual shocks on the front and this eliminated my death wobble.
Now I need to know if it would be a good idea to install the adjustable track bar.

Could you expand on this . I have read on this forum that the problem is in the stability / traction control. I have a 2010 SLT CC 4x4 and just want to get the nose out of the dirt. Have been looking at the Ranco Quicklift leveling kit. Anyone have feedback on this setup?

So after reading the posts on here I determined that I should be safe going with the Mopar 2" leveling kit. Kit was $212 with tax and dealer charged me $196 for install and alignment. It looks great, and drove fine in 2WD. However, before buying $1400 in tires, I checked to make sure it worked in 4WD. Unfortunately, I have the "Death Wobble"/4WD Shudder. Dealer said they think it is the kit and the only fix is to remove it, for another $200. I called Mopar and they said they have had no problems with this kit and have sold 100's of them. Took it to another dealer and they could only figure from a test drive that it was the sharper angles at the CV joints. They would not investigate further without charging $86/hr for labor. As it stands, I have filed a complaint with Dodge and I am waiting to hear back. I need feedback of anyone else who has this Mopar kit installed and if they have had any problems with it, specifically while in 4WD. I know some of the other kits have problems, but I thought this one was working for people. Thanks.
