All 2009 Rams have a tranny cooler, regardless of tow package or not.

From the FSM:
GAS ENGINES

An air-to-oil transmission oil cooler is standard on all engine packages. The transmission oil cooler is mounted to the front of the radiator above the power steering cooler.

He he, that's what they're supposed to look like but ours are built into the radiator cores...at least mine are anyway...I hope I'm wrong!

Last time this came up, a guy proved that the trans cooler was common with the ac condensor, not the radiator - even posted a picture.

Yeah Yeah, I remember now...I just knew it wasn't like that drawing or mounted in front of the radiator like normal. So where did the drawing come from cause that's not how ours is either...that's what threw me off, thx!

The drawing is out of the factory service manual

I guess I'm confused because I have a cooler in front of my radiator. I don't have the Big Horn, but I have the SLT. The numbered items are labeled, so what are we looking at in the picture that doesn't match on your trucks?

Those drawings are wrong, the coolers are made into the A/C condenser mounted in front of the radiator as oldjeep pointed out in this picture here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2076092-post16.html Your transmission lines go in and out the top left of the condenser where the two red temporary caps are. Those red caps in the pic are just there to prevent any moisture from getting in until you hook it up...sry for the confusion

Hmmmmm. I have tranny temps upward of 210 sometimes when towing and A/C on. Now I understand why.

Ordering an aftermarket cooler TODAY. Well, maybe wait till June when the temps climb.
