RC 4" Lift Finally Installed!
I saw your photobucket pics, the truck looks real good man. How do you like the RC lift? I've read some good reviews and some bad ones, so I'm still up in the air at this point. Love the price compared to other brands, but I don't want to pay that much less if the quality is crap.

Thanks for the compliments, so far I've got about 900 miles on it and honestly, it rides and drives like stock. It's tough to tell with the cold weather, snow, and all, but with the larger tires I might have dropped about 1 mpg at most.
When I bought the kit I called RC and they told me my stock rims would work with their 1/4" spacers, so I bought them. Not even close... the shop that did the install for me said flat out they wouldn't work because of the backspacing, and while I stood there they called RC and asked them - and this guy admitted they wouldn't work either! I wasn't real happy because I'd already spent more for 20" tires (I'd have dropped to 17's if I knew I had to buy wheels), and the new rims set me back almost a grand that I hadn't planned on.
The shop said it was a good "mid-range" kit, and explained that more expensive kits would have lighter components (aluminum as opposed to cast iron) but I honestly can't tell the difference from stock. I also spent the extra few $$ to get the optional kicker bar kit, which the shop agreed was a good idea. The truck rides and handles great, and I'd buy the kit again if I had to.
