Default Hid Install 4 lamp system

Ok i have installed a few sets of HID's in the past with no trouble at all. But it seems Dodge Ram is the first to stump me. These are for my own truck, a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 sport with the 4 headlamp system. I purchased an H11 kit for the lows, 9005 for the Hi's and the same for the fogs I believe. Attempted the lows and nothing, switched plugs around etc. no results. Not sure what to do exactly. Also am i going to have the same problems with hi's and fogs. The DRL's appear to run off the highs. If some could please help me i would greatly appreciate it.

Im not sure on the headlights as I would have to see more about the 4th Gens but maybe this will help you with the DRLs. I assume you are in CN?

What brand did you buy? I bought a kit from HID extra but I have not installed them yet. I thought they where plug and play, if not then they are for sale!

I have these in my truck and the hid kits for these trucks seem to be a hit or miss type of upgrade. Some people get them to work straight out of the box, I had to make 3 calls to hid extra to get mine going and others never got them to work at all. As far as the DRL's go on your truck I would try to get it disabled so your hid lights are not running all the time. Sorry that I really cant help you other than to suggest you call the place that you bought them from and get them to walk through the install with you over the phone.

I got a kit from HID extra too. Other then wiring in the relay, they're pretty straight forward. Took me all of 30 minutes to install.

I'm in Canada too, I bought the Bi-Xeneon kit from HID extra. And They're not true Bi-Xeneons, those lights should move when you switch from Low-Hi. Instead theres just an extra halogen bulb attached to my HID bulb.

Anyways back to your problem. First off did you install a relay?
If you did, make sure its grounded well, theres alot of current draw from the ballasts and grounding is crucial.

I should have made a video of my install... for all the 4th gen owners, cause I know there isnt one on youtube.

Really? I installed the Hi's and Lows last night with no problem. The fogs only have 1 plug which services both fog lights. What exactly does each fog HID plug into?

Do I need a relay harness?

The fogs each have their own plug. Unplug it from the bulb and plug into the ballast, then install the new bulb and connect....works great!

OK Great! HIDs ALL AROUND! Thanks for the help!

Side note, Anybody have issues putting their grill back on and snapping? I tried forever and just gave up. One side would snap back in place but not the other and vice versa. Its secure and not going anywhere, but not having the one side snapped firmly in place does concern me.
