Default 09 ram upgraded to rbz radio

I had the standard RES radio, and I bought an rbz off of ebay. I plugged it in and everything works. I shut the truck off and restarted it, just to cycle the radio a few times. When I restarted it the 2nd time, my check engine light came on. Everything is fine, radio works, etc. Do you think the truck is pissed off becuase I swapped radios (can bus) or do you think something else could be wrong?

Upgraded my RES to a RBZ just like you.

Worked flawlessly, no codes after 3 months.

There are zero message on teh EVIC. So this morning I pulled the negative battery cable and waiting a few minutes, then reinstalled. It cleared the check engine light. I drove it around some this morning and stopped at a few places. Everything seems normal and the check engine light is still off. Whatever the reason, it seems to have fixed itself.

Edit: I looked up the Vin number that is displayed on the radio. It came out of a 2010 dodge journey and it still has a sirius radio subscription(bonus). At least I get a few months of free radio service again.
